EVAN SCOTT
Evan Scott is drawn to polished absurdity, sincere behavior, and deadpan comedy.
His work often starts with one heightened rule, one strange human truth, or one idea that’s just slightly off, then treats it with total seriousness. The result is comedy that feels visually precise, behaviorally specific, and strange in a way that still feels elegant and buyable.
He directs commercials, music videos, sketch comedy, and television, and has made work for brands including Starbucks, Bud Light, Walmart, Google, Zola, and Pizza Hut, as well as artists including Sasha Sloan and Dillon Francis. He also wrote and directed the Amazon Prime comedy series Like & Subscribe for Funny Or Die.
Based in Los Angeles, Evan is especially interested in committed performances, heightened worlds, and the weird ways people behave when everyone acts like nothing is unusual.
